Founded on the belief that birth is a natural, physiological process rather than a medical emergency, The Willow Birth Center was established to provide a middle ground: the comfort and intimacy of home with the clinical expertise and safety protocols of a professional birthing facility.
Our name reflects our approach - like a willow tree, we provide deep-rooted strength and stability while remaining flexible and responsive to the unique rhythms of every labor and every family.

Founder & CEO
Alyson Kuntz-Butler
Lead Certified Nurse-Midwife
Alyson is a highly trained and experienced midwife who has been practicing for 35 years. Her birth management expertise includes VBAC, VBAMC, breech, twins, and managing complications with clinical precision and a calm presence.
Having attended over 3,400 families in home and birth center settings, she has dedicated her career to returning the power of birth back to the family.
